The Plough Inn at Lathom

The Plough Inn is a traditional country pub with real fires and a focus on locally-sourced produce

served from the restaurant that also offers motorhome stopovers in their car park, which is free for customer. When we called in the menu was good quality traditional pub grub and quite reasonably priced. Dogs are allowed in the bar area.

We were in the area to visit the Martinmere Wetland Centre, more of which in the next post.

The car park is a decent size and mostly level, we were able to tuck our 7.5m motorhome a

way down one end of the car park. There are no facilities other than those in the pub, so you'll really need to be self-contained for a comfortable night After the pub closed the car park was pretty quiet and we got a good night's sleep.
